When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
CommentsI love the expression on her face, I love the short depth of field, I love the way her body seems to be in two parts, like waves dying on the sand, like she is totally relaxed, tired, opened, climaxed, and I love your bedpost too, it helps entering in the picture.I love her freckled shoulder too. And nice lighting.
simple beauty,,,the best type

I have very little background in traditional photography so I won't go all technical on you.
I find this print more approachable than most in your gallery. For me, in a good proportion of your work, your production and technical skill removes the nude from the terms of an honest encounter. The shots I enjoy most in your gallery (Holly's laugh, Anya, Another morning . . .) seem to bypass the artificial genre of the nude and engage with the subject on a more genuine level. These works, for me, possess more openess to the character of your subject and are more visually powerful because of it.
I do love this shot.
